  • Jason Mraz

    Jason Mraz

    Jason Mraz launched the Yousician Spotlight course series in fall 2021, a brand new in-app feature. The courses allow users to learn and play their favorite songs straight from the artists who made them famous—with custom instruction, tips, tricks, and stories from their musical journey.

  • Juanes

    Colombian GRAMMY-winner Juanes is the second artist to launch a Spotlight course with Yousician. The core campaign messaging focused on “speaking music”, since the course is available in English and Spanish. This partnership also included Duolingo, who supported with content and social.

  • Nancy Wilson

    Heart guitarist and vocalist Nancy Wilson first collaborated with Yousician in 2020 during the start of the pandemic. She joined a guitar class at Montclair State University as a Yousician Guest Teacher and performed “Barracuda” and “Even It Up”. The partnership is still ongoing.

  • Phil Collen

    Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen launched the Yousician Guest Teacher series, an initiative to connect artists and fans during the COVID-19 pandemic. Collen played “Pour Some Sugar On Me” for the students and gave them inspirational advice during a particularly rough year.

  • Declan McKenna

    UK artist Declan McKenna was the first to host a Yousician Artist Session. This campaign included an Instagram contest where fans could enter for the chance to join a Zoom call with McKenna, where he played then-unreleased songs from his upcoming album.

  • Mark Bryan

    Hootie and the Blowfish lead guitarist Mark Bryan joined a class at Montclair State University as a Yousician Guest Teacher to perform some of the band’s hits and discuss his new album, Midlife Priceless. He even took on R.E.M.’s hit “Losing My Religion” on Yousician.
